Kayce Day 2 5-30-2022

AM: Worked on heel, sit, and here. He has a really good base with heal and sit, however he tends to lay down instead of sit, so I have to encourage him to sit instead of lay down. When healing and hunting from a traditional blind or chair while dove hunting, we want the dog to sit rather than lay because it allows them to move their head and watch the sky more efficiently. When hunting from a layout blind for waterfowl and we have the dog in a ground blind as well, that is when we would want them to lay down to be more concealed. Did some play retrieving with a tennis ball and no pressure to see where his natural retrieving desire is. He has good drive and picked it up and brought it to me each time. Let him play with the other dogs afterwards. 

PM: Worked on heel and sit some more. Introduced Kayce to the table and just had him walk up and down it to get comfortable. He responded good to it.
