Kayce & Nelli Day 49 8-6-2022

This morning I felt they were doing well enough to introduce a thawed out duck to retrieve. NELLI was first and she was, to no surprise, hesitant about it. I had to put her back on the table to get her comfortable holding the duck in her mouth. It didn't take long before she knew she had to pick it up. We then moved to the ground and I had to apply some pressure to get her to retrieve it but I could tell she was getting more comfortable with it. She was holding onto the duck great the whole time. KAYCE was next and I was surprised that he didn't have any hesitation and picked it up like he had retrieved a bird 100 times before. He held onto it great also.
