Nelli Day 24 6-22-2022

AM: We played in the yard and then got back to work. Nelli is getting better each time with her desire to retrieve. It's starting to get fun for her. One obstacle that I have not had to worry about is dropping. She is doing a great job at holding on to the bumper the whole time. She also understands that the pressure means FETCH but she requires the minimum amount of pressure and it rarely has to be used any more. After retrieving we started to work on the place stand. All we do to start off on that is just encourage them with treats to get on the stand. We did several repetitions with this and will start doing it twice a day. 

PM: After playing in the yard we did more retrieving. She is improving on her desire to retrieve. After that we worked on more place training. She is hesitant to jump up on the stand but is understanding that I want her to, I just have to assist her sometimes. She will get the confidence shortly to start jumping up on the place stand without help.
