Maverick Day 33 & 34 February 3 & 4, 2023

MAVERICK is starting to learn to heel off leash and needs work with it as he thinks he is free when he is not on a leash. His stay is improving and he will stay still as long as I want him to as long as he can see me. When I walk around get to places he can't see me he thinks he can move so we need to work on that more. His retrieving has progressed where we are now on the ground and he is going to fetch the bumper when asked. He is progressing good and will continue to improve. When he is to the point where I am comfortable with him doing longer marks we will go to the ball fields and use the bumper launcher. We are also going to start working on him getting in the ground blind for hunting.
