Maverick Days 23-26 1-12,13,15,16-2023

MAVERICK is doing real well with heel, sit, and stay. On the table he is at a plateue where he retrieving the bumper without my hand on it is hit or miss. Sometimes he does it and sometimes I have to put my hand back on it. I have started to incorporate an obstacle course in the training program where I lead the dogs through different obstacles and they learn to problem solve and figure out what I am asking him to do. I will start incorporating the retrieving into this and see how he progresses with it. I have visited with the trainer who developed this method and it makes total sense. MAVERICKS manners are also much improved around my kids.
