Maverick Day 1 12-15-2022

MAVERICK is here is for a couple months to learn manners and retrieving. His owner wants him to retrieve dove and waterfowl so we will also work on staying in a blind and having manners. The first day we just worked on a little leash work and getting him on the table to get comfortable walking up and down it. We also tossed a bumper to see the baseline of his natural desire to retrieve. He picked it up great but didn't want to bring it to me. Nothing wrong as that is normal for a puppy to want to play keep away. Glad to see he has the drive to pick it up on his own without hesitation.
