Rip & Basil Day 45 10-19-2022

RIP had 3 good sessions today on the table where we start off with the bumper he likes and move up to the bumper he doesn't like as much. He is doing much better and is grabbing the bumper he doesn't like as much, which is the standard rubber bumper, and is picking it up off the table fast with my hand on it and we ended each session with him picking it up freely without my hand on it. These are quick fast sessions that keep him engaged and having fun with no pressure applied. 

BASIL had a good retrieving session on the ground with all the different style bumpers and the frozen pigeon. Later we worked on his steadiness on whoa by having him on the whoa barrel while I had a pigeon on a pole. I wanted him to stand steady while the pigeon flew around. He did good and this went on for about 4 minutes. We will continue this drill every now and then in conjunction with pointing the birds in traps.
