Rip & Basil Day 9 8-26-2022

Major Jump Day

BASIL enthusiastically ran inside and jumped on the table waiting for me so we can start. We began by keeping the wonder lead on him and he was picking up the bumper off the table good so I then put the ecollar on him to transition the pressure from the wonder lead to the ecollar when given the command fetch. He quickly transitioned and is picking the bumper off the good with the pressure from the ecollar. The pressure from the ecollar is at a low setting. It's just meant for him to understand and do what I'm asking. It's the same concept as the wonder lead with on-off pressure. He is progressing at an extremely fast pace. 

RIP was ready and we picked up where we left and moved forward. He was starting to pick the bumper up off the table so I also started the transition of using the ecollar. He wasn't as willing to adjust quickly so I have to continue using the wonder lead and ecollar simultaneously. He responded better to that and did several good reps. We will continue with the ecollar transition and I'm sure he will adjust to it in the next couple days. He is progressing at a very good pace.
